Spaghetti with Beefy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg whole mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (14.5-oz) cans petite-diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 (6-oz) pkg shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. Cook beef, mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  3. Stir in tomatoes and cream; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in half of cheese until melted. Serve mushroom mixture over pasta; sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together beans and oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake 15 minutes or until browned and tender.
