Pasta with Tomatoes and Peas
Caesar SaladIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg rigatoni
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green peas
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- ½ cup white wine
- 1 (1-oz) pkg fresh basil, chopped
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
- Cook garlic in hot oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, and cook 2 minutes. Add wine, and cook 2 minutes.
- Stir in pasta mixture, basil, and cheese. Gradually stir in enough pasta water to make a thin sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
