Chicken Sausage, Kale, and Apple Sauté

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg nitrite-free fully cooked apple-chicken sausages, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 sweet apples, sliced
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 2 (5-oz) pkg baby kale
  • ½ cup organic chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in hot oil in a Dutch oven or large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook 5 minutes or until browned.
  2. Remove from Dutch oven, and keep warm. Add apples and onion; cook 5 minutes or until tender.
  3. Add kale, in batches, and cook 5 minutes or until tender. Add chicken sausage, broth, coconut aminos, and vinegar.
  4. Cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
