Sausage and Broccoli Stromboli
Chopped Italian SaladIngredients
- 1 lb ground Italian pork sausage
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- ¾ cup pizza sauce
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook sausage, broccoli, onion, and garlic in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until sausage is browned and crumbly. Drain well.
- Unroll pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with sausage mixture and cheese. Roll up dough, starting with one long side. Place, seam side down, on baking sheet. Cut slits in dough about 1-inch apart.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
