French Bread Pepperoni-and-Meatball Pizzas
Chopped Italian Salad
Ingredients
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen meatballs, thawed and halved
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook bell pepper in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 3 minutes. Add meatballs, and cook until thoroughly heated.
- Meanwhile, stir together butter, garlic, and oregano; spread over cut sides of bread. Place bread on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes.
- Spread pizza sauce on cut sides of bread; top with meatball mixture, pepperoni, and cheese. Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
