Pan-Seared Grouper with Oranges and Olives

Spicy Garlic Broccoli Rabe

Ingredients

  • 6 (6-oz) grouper fillets (or use cod)
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oranges
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup pitted green olives, halved
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Cook, in batches, in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, squeeze juice and grate zest from 1 orange. Peel and section 3 oranges.
  3. Add shallot, orange juice, orange zest, orange sections, olives, rosemary, and crushed red pepper to skillet. Cook 2 to 4 minutes or until liquid is slightly thickened. Serve sauce over fish.

  • 2 lb broccoli rabe, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine all ingredients on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake 10 minutes or until broccoli rabe is browned and crisp-tender.
