Bird Dog Sandwiches
Waffle Fries and Fruit CupsIngredients
- 3 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 large deli fried chicken fingers (about ¾ lb)
- 2 to 3 hot dog buns, toasted
- ½ cup shredded colby-Jack cheese
- 2 Tbsp honey mustard (see Note)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Place chicken fingers on a baking sheet; bake 5 to 10 minutes or just until heated.
- Sprinkle buns with half of bacon; top with chicken, cheese, and remaining bacon.
- Return to baking sheet, and bake 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Drizzle with honey mustard before serving.

- ½ (22-oz) pkg frozen waffle fries
- 2 (4-oz) cups cherry mixed fruit in juice
