Turkey Kofta Wraps

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp ground shawarma seasoning (such as McCormick Gourmet)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 2 pita bread rounds (preferably whole wheat)
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • ¼ cup sliced English cucumber
  • ½ cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup refrigerated tzatziki dip

Instructions

  1. Gently mix together turkey, seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper; shape into 12 small meatballs.
  2. Cook meatballs in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until no longer pink.
  3. Top pitas with arugula, cucumber, tomatoes, dip, and meatballs.
