Turkey Kofta Wraps
Ingredients
- ½ lb ground turkey
- 1 tsp ground shawarma seasoning (such as McCormick Gourmet)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 2 pita bread rounds (preferably whole wheat)
- 2 cups baby arugula
- ¼ cup sliced English cucumber
- ½ cup grape tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup refrigerated tzatziki dip
Instructions
- Gently mix together turkey, seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper; shape into 12 small meatballs.
- Cook meatballs in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 7 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until no longer pink.
- Top pitas with arugula, cucumber, tomatoes, dip, and meatballs.
