Philly Cheesesteak Chicken Sandwiches
Seasoned French Fries
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5-oz) can chicken broth
- 1 (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing mix
- 6 hoagie rolls
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced provolone cheese
Instructions
- Place chicken in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; top with bell peppers, onion, garlic, and broth. Sprinkle with seasoning mix. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours.
- Shred chicken in cooker; mix well. Split hoagie rolls, and place 1 slice cheese on one side of each roll.
- Preheat broiler. Broil rolls 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melted. Top with chicken mixture.
