Veggie-Smothered Turkey Burgers
Sweet Potato Puffs and Orange-Butter Lettuce with CilantroIngredients
- 1 (20-oz) pkg ground turkey
- 2 Tbsp salt-free Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- 2 large green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1½ cups thinly sliced onion
- 1 (16-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1¾ cups low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, seasoning and worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Shape into 6 patties.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook burgers 4 to 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in skillet; add bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, garlic, and salt, and cook 5 minutes or until tender.
- Whisk together cornstarch and broth; pour into skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 4 minutes or until sauce is thickened and vegetables are tender.
- Top burgers with vegetables and sauce.

- 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato puffs
- 1½ (6-oz) pkg butter lettuce salad
- 3 oranges, peeled and sectioned
- ¾ cup light raspberry walnut dressing
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake potato puffs according to package directions.
- Combine lettuce, oranges, and dressing in a salad bowl; toss until blended; sprinkle with cilantro.
- Serve potato puffs and salad alongside burgers.
