Honey-Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  1. Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook on Low for 6 hours.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1½ cups and 2 Tbsp uncooked elbow macaroni
  • ⅓ cup and 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp and 1¾ tsp distilled white vinegar
  • ¼ cup and 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ⅜ large onion, chopped
  • ¾ stalk celery, chopped
  • ⅜ green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp and 1¾ tsp grated carrot (optional)
  • 2½ tsp chopped pimento peppers (optional)

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Rinse under cold water and drain.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in the onion, celery, green pepper, carrot, pimentos and macaroni. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving, but preferably overnight.
