Meatloaf Burgers with Tomato Gravy
Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes and Sweet Peas
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 (14.5-oz) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onion
- ½ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Stir together beef, panko, onion, Worcestershire, pepper, and salt. Add egg, stirring to combine. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in a large skillet over medium heat to desired degree of doneness. Remove from skillet and keep warm; wipe skillet clean.
- Melt butter in same skillet over medium heat; add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and broth; cook, stirring, 2 minutes or until thickened. Return burgers to skillet; cook 1 minute or until heated through.

- 1 (32-oz) carton refrigerated mashed potatoes
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 (15-oz) pkg frozen sweet peas
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions; stir in sour cream.
- Steam peas according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
