Skillet Mac-and-Cheese Pizza
Lemon and Almond Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg elbow macaroni
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup sliced pepperoni
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large, deep ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add flour; cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, 6 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in pizza sauce.
- Gradually stir in cheese until melted. Add pasta, stirring to coat. Arrange pepperoni over pasta. Stir together panko and Parmesan; sprinkle over pepperoni. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam green beans according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add nuts, and cook, stirring occasionally, until toasted. Add green beans and lemon juice; toss and season with salt and pepper to taste.
