Asian Beef Stir-Fry
Sesame-Cilantro Basmati RiceIngredients
- ¾ lb flank steak, thinly sliced (see Note)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- 1½ cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp ginger paste
- 1½ Tbsp arrowroot
- 1 (12-oz) pkg vegetable stir-fry medley (such as Eat Smart)
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper. Cook in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes or to desired doneness.
- Stir together broth, soy sauce, garlic, ginger paste, and arrowroot; add to skillet. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thickened.
- Meanwhile, steam vegetables according to package directions; stir into beef mixture.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (8.5-oz) pouch microwavable brown basmati rice
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- ½ Tbsp sesame seeds
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat rice according to package directions. Stir in cilantro and sesame seeds.
