Skillet Pizza-Stuffed Shells
Tossed Green Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg jumbo pasta shells
- 1 (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni, divided
- 1 (16-oz) pkg ground pork sausage
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, chop half of pepperoni. Cook sausage and chopped pepperoni in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in cream cheese and 1 cup mozzarella; cook over low heat, stirring, until melted. Spoon 1 cup pasta sauce into bottom of a large ovenproof skillet or baking dish. Spoon sausage mixture into pasta shells, and place, open sides up, over sauce. Pour remaining sauce over shells, and sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and remaining pepperoni.
- Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
