Chili-Cheese Crunchy Taco Bake
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 (9.25-oz) pkg chili-cheese-flavored corn chips
- 1 (10.75-oz) can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, until mixture is very thick.
- Pour corn chips into a 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Spread meat mixture over chips.
- Whisk together soup and milk in a small bowl. Pour over meat in dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.
