Beef and Broccoli Bowl
Spicy Jasmine RiceIngredients
- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1½ lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp ginger paste
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Cook broccoli according to package directions; set aside.
- Cook steak in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet 5 minutes or until browned. Remove steak, and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
- Add steak and steamed broccoli to skillet. Stir soy sauce mixture into skillet; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring often. Serve over Spicy Jasmine Rice recipe.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (8.5-oz) pouches microwavable jasmine rice
- 1 (8-oz) pkg chopped onions (about 1 cup)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions; spoon into a large bowl.
- Cook onion, garlic, and crushed red pepper in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Add to rice; toss.
