Apple-Cider-Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in pork chops
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp dried rubbed sage
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Season pork lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook pork in hot oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or until browned. Add butter, sugar, and sage; cook until butter is melted. Stir in cider and apples.
  3. Transfer skillet to oven, and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce is thickened and pork is done.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free quick-cooking grits
  • 1 (6-oz) pkg spinach
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 Tbsp butter

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook grits according to package directions. Add spinach, cheese, and butter; stir until spinach is wilted.
