Easy Barbecue Brisket
Creamy Broccoli SlawIngredients
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1½ lb beef brisket, trimmed
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Place onion in a 4-quart slow cooker. Rub seasoning on all sides of brisket; place over onions in cooker, cutting brisket in pieces, if necessary. Pour beef broth and barbecue sauce over brisket.
- Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours or until tender. Slice before serving.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp honey
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Let stand 30 minutes before serving.
