Philly Cheesesteak Mini Calzones

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend (diced onion, bell peppers and celery)
  • 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 (16.3-oz) cans refrigerated flaky layers biscuit dough
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook beef and seasoning blend in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in mustard and steak seasoning; remove from heat, and cool slightly.
  2. Flatten each biscuit into a 5-inch round. Top 1 side of each biscuit with meat mixture and about 1 Tbsp shredded cheese. Fold other side of biscuit over filling, crimping edges with a fork.
  3. Place calzones on a lightly greased baking sheet, and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 sweet apples, chopped
  • ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
