Philly Cheesesteak Mini Calzones
Romaine-Celery-Apple SaladIngredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen seasoning blend (diced onion, bell peppers and celery)
- 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 (16.3-oz) cans refrigerated flaky layers biscuit dough
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook beef and seasoning blend in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in mustard and steak seasoning; remove from heat, and cool slightly.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 5-inch round. Top 1 side of each biscuit with meat mixture and about 1 Tbsp shredded cheese. Fold other side of biscuit over filling, crimping edges with a fork.
- Place calzones on a lightly greased baking sheet, and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 sweet apples, chopped
- ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
