Blue Cheese Sauce Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, cut in half
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Combine beef, seasoning, and garlic; gently shape into 6 patties. Grill, covered, in batches, 4 to 5 minutes per side or until done.
  2. Combine sour cream, oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and cheese. Spoon over burgers.
  3. Top with tomatoes, avocado, green onions, and parsley. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
