Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Steamed Rice
Ingredients
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1 (10-oz) pkg shredded carrots
- 1 (8-oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, onions, garlic, and water; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in soy sauce and chili sauce; cook until thoroughly heated. Stir in cilantro. Season with salt to taste.
