Quick Chicken and Bacon Melt Casserole
Sweet and Tangy Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, torn into bite-size pieces
- 1 (16-oz) pkg grilled and ready chicken breasts, chopped
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (10-oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 (2.5-oz) pkg real bacon pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together all ingredients, and spoon into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg classic salad mix
- 2 apples, chopped (preferably a sweet, crisp variety)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
