Spicy Ginger Steak

Ingredients
- 3 (8-oz) sirloin steaks
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp minced ginger
- 2 Tbsp Asian chili garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 6 heads baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
Instructions
- Place steaks in a large zip-top plastic bag; stir together soy sauce, ginger, chili garlic paste, vinegar, and honey. Seal and chill at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Remove steaks from marinade, reserving marinade.
- Cook steaks in hot oil in a large cast-iron skillet or wok 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove to a cutting board; let stand 5 minutes.
- Add bok choy to drippings in skillet, and sauté 2 to 3 minutes per side or until almost done. Add reserved marinade, and cook 2 minutes or until sauce thickens and bok choy is tender.
- Slice steaks, and serve with bok choy and sauce over Green Onion Rice recipe.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (8.8-oz) pouches microwavable brown basmati rice
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 4 green onions, sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat rice according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a nonstick skillet; add onions, and sauté 2 minutes or until tender. Stir onions into rice.
