Crispy Onion Rings with Smoky Dipping SauceIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup plus 1 Tbsp barbecue sauce, divided
- 1 (9-oz) pkg thinly sliced ham
- 2 lb lean ground pork
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced Cheddar cheese
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Stir together coleslaw, mayonnaise, and 1 Tbsp barbecue sauce in a medium bowl. Divide ham into 6 portions.
- Shape pork into six ½-inch-thick patties; season lightly with salt and pepper. Grill, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done. Top with cheese, and grill 1 minute or until cheese is melted. Place ham portions and buns on grill. Grill 1 to 2 minutes or until ham is lightly browned and buns are toasted.
- Serve patties on buns with ham, coleslaw, and ½ cup barbecue sauce.
