Slow-Cooker Pear-Pecan Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats (do not use quick-cooking steel-cut oats)
  • 4 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup 100% apple juice
  • 1 pear, diced
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup honey

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, water and salt in a 3- or 4-quart slow-cooker generously coated with cooking spray.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours.
  3. Stir in apple juice, pear, pecans, and honey before serving. Spoon into 4 serving bowls.
