Slow-Cooker Pear-Pecan Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup steel-cut oats (do not use quick-cooking steel-cut oats)
- 4 cups water
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup 100% apple juice
- 1 pear, diced
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup honey
Instructions
- Combine oats, water and salt in a 3- or 4-quart slow-cooker generously coated with cooking spray.
- Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours.
- Stir in apple juice, pear, pecans, and honey before serving. Spoon into 4 serving bowls.
