Ingredients

  • ¾ lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)
  • 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, divided
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ Tbsp ginger paste
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • ½ Tbsp gochujang (Korean chile paste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Gently combine beef, egg, panko, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, garlic, ginger paste, and pepper using your hands. Shape mixture into 3 small loaves. Place on a wire rack on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Whisk together 1 Tbsp soy sauce, honey, and gochujang; brush over loaves.
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until no longer pink in centers.

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into spears
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ Tbsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine all ingredients on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake 14 minutes or until well browned, stirring once during last 2 minutes of baking.
