Sweet and Spicy Chicken
Green Beans and Garlic-Herb Potato Wedges
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Cut chicken in half crosswise, and pound to an even thickness in a zip-top plastic bag using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet; season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add chicken, and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet, and set aside.
- Add garlic to skillet; cook, stirring 30 seconds. Stir in brown sugar, water, Sriracha sauce, and vinegar; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet; cook 2 minutes, stirring to coat with sauce.

- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook potato wedges according to package directions. Steam green beans according to package directions; season with salt and pepper to taste.
