Skillet Chicken and Stuffing
Caesar Salad
Ingredients
- ½ (6-oz) pkg cornbread stuffing mix
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 (10.75-oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- ⅓ cup milk
- ½ (16-oz) pkg frozen cut green beans
- ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook stuffing mix according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper; add to skillet along with onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is done. Add flour, and cook, stirring, 2 minutes.
- Stir in soup, milk, and green beans; sprinkle with stuffing. Cover, and cook 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, and let stand until cheese is melted.
