Instant Pot Spicy Orange Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken wings, tips removed and discarded
- 1 Tbsp orange zest
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup fresh orange juice
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1½ Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1½ Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp cold water
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 (12-oz) bottle refrigerated blue cheese dressing
- Celery sticks (optional)
Instructions
- Separate wings at joints into flats and drumettes.
- Combine orange zest and all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add wings; toss. Cover and chill 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Place rack in a 6-quart Instant Pot. Arrange wings and marinade over rack in pot. Close and lock pot lid. Turn steam release to Sealing position. Set cook time on Manual for 5 minutes.
- When time sounds, turn pot off, and release steam using Quick Release method.
- Remove wings from pot, and place on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. .
- Change pot to Sauté setting; select More. Boil cooking liquid until reduced by half. Stir together cold water and cornstarch; add to cooking liquid, and cook 1 minute or until thickened.
- Preheat broiler. Brush wings with cooking liquid. Broil 5 to 6 minutes or until browned and crisp. Serve with dressing and celery, if desired.
