Sausage, Tomato, and Pesto Pizza

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 (6-oz) jar pesto
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, roll out dough to desired thickness on a lightly floured surface. Spread pesto on dough; top with cheese, tomatoes, and sausage.
  3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned. Sprinkle with basil.
