Blackberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups blackberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp cold water
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Combine blackberries and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Whisk together lemon juice, cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  3. Add to blackberry mixture; boil 1 minute or until thickened.
  4. Spoon sauce into a heatproof bowl. Cover and refrigerate up to 1 week.
