Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) pkg frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 (10.25-oz) can cream of chicken soup (or other cream soup)
  • 1 (16-oz) carton sour cream (see Note)
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl until blended. Spoon into a lightly greased 13-x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake 45 minutes or until top is golden. Let stand 10 minutes.
