Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2  (16-oz) pkg peeled, cubed sweet potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring potatoes and water to cover to a boil in a large saucepan; reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain potatoes well, and return to pan. Add butter and cinnamon.
  3. Mash with a potato masher to desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
