Easy Skillet-Seared Flank Steak
Roasted Broccoli and Carrots
Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1½ lb flank steak, trimmed
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Rub garlic and steak seasoning all over steak. Cook steak in hot oil in a large cast-iron skillet 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing diagonally across the grain.

- 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ lb broccoli florets
- 2 carrots, cut into ½-inch-thick slices
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp; reserve 3 Tbsp drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon.
- Cook onion, garlic salt, and lemon-pepper in hot drippings plus oil 3 minutes or until onion is just tender.
- Toss onion mixture with broccoli and carrots on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes or until broccoli and carrots are tender, stirring once. Sprinkle with bacon.
