Crispy Breadcrumb Tuna Sliders
Broccoli-Cheese Tots and Apples
Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 4 (5-oz) cans wild-caught tuna, drained and flaked
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- ½ cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 12 slider buns
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Cheddar cheese slices
Instructions
- Grate zest and squeeze juice from lemon. Combine lemon zest, juice, tuna, eggs, bell pepper, breadcrumbs, and ¼ cup mayonnaise in a large bowl. Shape mixture into 12 small patties.
- Cook patties, in 2 batches, in 2 Tbsp hot oil per batch in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until firm and browned.
- Serve on buns with ketchup, mayonnaise, and cheese.

- 1 (14-oz) pkg frozen broccoli cheese veggie tots (such as Green Giant)
- Ketchup
- 3 apples, sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake tots 15 to 18 minutes. Serve with ketchup.
