The Perfect Chili

Ingredients
- 3 lb ground beef
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 (29-oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (15.5-oz) cans Ranch-style beans
- 1 (15-oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
- ¼ cup chili powder
- 3 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
- Corn chips
- ½ cup sliced green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Cook beef and onions in a large pot over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to pot.
- Add tomato sauce, beans, broth, chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until thickened.
- Serve with cheese, sour cream, corn chips, and, if desired, green onions.
