Vegetable Beef Soup
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 (16-oz) pkg frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups water
- 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
Instructions
- Cook beef in a large stockpot until crumbly and no longer pink; drain and return to pot. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Add vegetables and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, covered, at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
