Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (10¾-oz) can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Pour butter into a 13- x- 9-inch baking dish. Spread chicken over butter.
  2. Whisk together milk, flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour slowly over chicken, and do not stir.
  3. Whisk together chicken broth and soup. Pour over flour mixture, and do not stir.
  4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until dumplings are golden brown.
