Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (11.75-oz) pkg frozen five-cheese garlic bread (such as Pepperidge Farm)
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain and season with salt and pepper. Add marinara sauce; simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Bake bread according to package directions. Cool slightly, and slice desired amount of bread. Save remaining bread for another meal.
  3. Spoon meat sauce over sliced cheesy bread; sprinkle with Parmesan.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (6-oz) pkg sweet butter lettuce
  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • ½ cup strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup blackberries
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup raspberry vinaigrette (or use other sweet dressing)

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients except vinaigrette in a large bowl. Drizzle with vinaigrette; toss.
