Easy Pizza Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni
  • 2 (13.8-oz) cans refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef and pepperoni in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain.
  2. Sprinkle a few Tbsp cornmeal onto a work surface. Roll out each pizza dough on cornmeal, and roll into a 18- x 10-inch rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle each with cheese and beef mixture, leaving a ½-inch border on all sides.
  4. Roll up each dough into a log, beginning with one long side, pressing seams to seal.
  5. Cut logs into 1-inch-thick slices; place on greased baking sheets.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Heat pasta sauce according to package directions; serve with pinwheels for dipping.
