Easy Pizza Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni
- 2 (13.8-oz) cans refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef and pepperoni in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly; drain.
- Sprinkle a few Tbsp cornmeal onto a work surface. Roll out each pizza dough on cornmeal, and roll into a 18- x 10-inch rectangle.
- Sprinkle each with cheese and beef mixture, leaving a ½-inch border on all sides.
- Roll up each dough into a log, beginning with one long side, pressing seams to seal.
- Cut logs into 1-inch-thick slices; place on greased baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Heat pasta sauce according to package directions; serve with pinwheels for dipping.
