Turkey Burgers with Garlic-Herb Cheese

Ingredients

  • ½ cup grated zucchini
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ lb ground turkey
  • ⅛ tsp kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp panko breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
  • 4 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • ¼ cup garlic-herb spreadable cheese (such as Alouette)
  • 2 tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Combine zucchini, garlic, turkey, salt, pepper, panko, and egg white in a large bowl. Shape into 2 patties.
  2. Preheat grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill patties 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  3. Arrange lettuce in 2 stacks, using 2 leaves per stack. Top with burgers. Spread cheese over burgers; top with tomato.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg frozen cauliflower tots (such as Green Giant)
  • ⅛ tsp kosher salt
  • Dash of cayenne pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake tots according to package directions. Sprinkle with salt and cayenne pepper; toss.
