Grilled Barbecue Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ tsp honey
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (1-lb) pork tenderloin
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Stir together ketchup, vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, honey, onion powder, and garlic powder in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Divide sauce in half; reserve half to serve with cooked pork.
  2. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Grill, turning occasionally, 15 minutes. Brush with remaining sauce and grill, turning occasionally, until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion registers 145°F, about 5 minutes. Serve with reserved ¼ cup sauce.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1½ Tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2½ cups angel hair coleslaw (about ½ [10-oz] pkg)
  • 1 cup sliced celery

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain, reserving 1½ Tbsp drippings in skillet.
  2. Whisk vinegar and mustard into hot drippings in skillet.
  3. Toss together coleslaw, celery, bacon, and vinegar mixture in a bowl. Add pepper to taste.
