Bacon Cheeseburgers with Onion Rings
Fruit Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing
Ingredients
- 12 slices bacon
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings (see Note)
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced colby-Jack cheese
- 6 hamburger buns (or use other bakery buns)
- Ketchup
- 1 (16-oz) jar dill pickle chips (optional)
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain.
- Bake onion rings according to package directions.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Mix beef, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, and garlic salt; shape mixture into 6 patties.
- Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
- Top each burger with 1 slice cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted.
- Serve burgers on buns with ketchup, pickles, bacon, and onion rings.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg strawberries, halved
- 1 cantaloupe, halved, seeded, and cubed
- 1 cup seedless red grapes
- ¾ cup poppy seed dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Place strawberries, melon, and grapes in a bowl; drizzle with dressing, and toss. Chill, if desired.
