Beef-and-Mushroom Skillet Toss
Roasted Green Beans with Lemon-Herb ButterIngredients
- 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz top round beef steak, cut into thin strips
- 2 tsp sesame oil, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg mushrooms, quartered
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
- Cook beef in 1 tsp hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes or just until beef begins to brown. Remove from skillet.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in skillet; add mushrooms, and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until tender.
- Add beef and soy sauce mixture; cook 30 seconds or until slightly thickened. Sprinkle with parsley.

- 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- ½ small shallot, minced
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp butter, softened
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss beans with oil in a roasting pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, stir together shallot, parsley, butter, and lemon zest; toss with hot cooked beans. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
