Ketchup-Topped Meat Loaf
Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans and Mac 'n Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¾ cup ketchup, divided
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1½ tsp Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's)
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Gently mix beef, breadcrumbs, ¼ cup ketchup, Worcestershire, and seasoning using your hands. Shape in a loaf, and place in a 9-x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Bake 1 hour. Carefully drain off drippings.
- Mix ½ cup ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard; spread over meat loaf. Bake 15 minutes longer or until center of loaf is no longer pink. Cool slightly, and slice.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
- ¼ cup butter
- 6 Tbsp soy sauce
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
- 1 (20-oz) pkg refrigerated prepared macaroni and cheese (such as Main St. Bistro)
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook beans according to package directions. Cool and separate into bundles of 7 to 8 beans each.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, and pepper. Bring to a boil; cook until slightly thickened.
- Cook bacon, in batches, in a large skillet over medium heat until pliable but not quite crisp. Drain.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Wrap 1 slice bacon around each bean bundle; place bundles, a few inches apart, on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Brush heavily with soy sauce mixture.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp, basting once or twice with remaining soy sauce mixture.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
