Banoffee Sundaes
Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
- 1 (48-oz) carton vanilla ice cream
- 4 small bananas, sliced
Instructions
- Toast nuts in a small dry saucepan over medium heat until fragrant, stirring occasionally. Remove from pan.
- Bring butter, sugar, cream, and salt to a boil in saucepan over medium heat; cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thickened and sugar is dissolved. Cool slightly.
- Spoon a small amount of sauce into 4 cups. Add a scoop of ice cream, bananas, another scoop of ice cream, and more sauce. Sprinkle with nuts.
