Pesto Pasta with Shrimp
Steamed Green BeansIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg linguine
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1½ lb peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 (8-oz) jar pesto
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper. Add shrimp to skillet, and cook, stirring, until shrimp turn pink and are firm. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
- Add cream and pesto to skillet; cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Toss with pasta, shrimp, and cheese.

- 2 Tbsp butter

- Steam green beans according to package directions; toss with butter, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
