Hawaiian Turkey Dogs

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp olive-oil mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Sriracha hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp fresh lime juice
  • 4 spears peeled pineapple
  • 2 organic uncured turkey hot dogs (such as Applegate)
  • 2 hot dog buns (preferably whole wheat)
  • 2 Tbsp thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 Tbsp fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  1. Stir together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl; stir in 1 tsp pineapple juice from container.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grill hot dogs and pineapple spears 3 to 4 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Spread mayonnaise mixture on buns; top with hot dogs, pineapple, onion, and cilantro.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 3 cups tricolor coleslaw
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients in a medium bowl; let stand at least 10 minutes before serving.
