Beefy Skillet Macaroni
Lemon-Parmesan Romaine SaladIngredients
- 1½ lb 90% lean ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- ½ (16-oz) pkg whole-grain elbow macaroni
- 1 (15.5-oz) jar natural marinara sauce (such as Rao's)
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown beef, garlic, and onion in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat; drain.
- Add macaroni, marinara sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, pepper, and water to skillet; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender; sprinkle with cheese.

- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Side Dish Instructions
- Place lettuce in a large bowl.
- Whisk together oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Toss salad with dressing. Sprinkle with cheese.
